Two - $7,500 SCHOLARSHIPS for GRADUATE STUDIES will be awarded for the 2007-2008 Academic School Year

Specific Criteria:

A. Any student attending an Accredited Graduate School in the US during the 2007-2008 Academic School Year

B. Major: Any field

C. GPA: minimum of 3.5 on 4.0 scale

D4. Submit verification of enrollment in graduate studies program for the Academic Year 2007-2008

Selection Criteria:
Completed application, required attachments, meet specific criteria "E" [equal weight in service, leadership, character, education & financial need]

Guidelines:

A. Postmarked by February 1, 2007

B. Include $5 processing fee

C. Meet specified criteria "E"

D. Complete & sign application

E. One page [only] original current letter from applicant including:


1. Information about studies and how you will benefit the community in this field

2. State whether or not applicant is currently participating in graduate assistanceship program

3. Statement addressing applicant’s service, leadership, character, education and financial need


F. Two [only] current signed letters of recommendation:


1. Letters of Recommendation must be from Graduate Studies Department, Administration, and/or professors who have knowledge of individual applicant

2. Letters of recommendation need to address applicant’s potential to make significant contribution to Graduate Study Field, character, service, leadership abilities as well as any other pertinent information


G. Most recent official college/university transcript [with school stamp, school official’s signature, or embossed stamp/seal] and schools grading system

H. Include name, specific address, & phone number of college/university applicant is attending
