Hope for Heroes

We are taking our support of the military, their families and veterans to the next level with our second year of ESA’s Hope for Heroes National Event. Hope for Heroes Week is November 7-13, 2010. IC President Dora Dill states, "We, the membership, enjoy our freedom to lead a purposeful life and to make a difference. Through our joint community undertakings, we will continue to show our appreciation and gratitude towards making a difference in the lives of our service men and women and their families."

For over 80 years, Epsilon Sigma Alpha has seen many needs and filled them with helping hands. One need we’ve consistently filled over the years is supporting our service men and women around the world and their families. Every chapter is asked to join with other community groups for the National Event and throughout the year. Our support of our military and their families is never ending. Involve your community. Contact local veterans groups, National Guard units, churches, civic organizations, friends and family. Dora reminds us anyone can show their gratitude toward those who serve. Remember the gratitudecampaign.org sign. Say "thank you" at every opportunity.

Send care packages to our deployed military; provide a meal to homeless veterans; send packages to our wounded warriors; help our heroes’ families; or do a program to honor our veterans on Veteran's Day. The opportunities to unleash your ESA Spirit and Dream of all the possibilities to show our love and gratitude for our Heroes, including their families, are endless. I believe all of ESA will make a tremendous difference to those in need, and help spread the word about the positive programs ESA supports.
