Judy Huntley, International Council President and her 2008-2009 Executive Board

As we begin this New Year with renewed vision for our future as we dedicate ourselves to going “Above and Beyond in ESA.” But even as we look to the future, we cannot imagine not taking the time to also reflect with gratitude and appreciation for all of the past year’s accomplishments.

Together this past year the International Council of Epsilon Sigma Alpha and all of its members shared a year filled with vision and imagination. We loved, laughed and cried together. We made new friends and said good-bye to some dear ones. Through it all one thing remained constant — the devotion and dedication of those who stepped forward to lead us with integrity and purpose.

As Coleen Cape and Bobbie Massey installed our new elected officers and the words that they described about what our ESA membership is all about, gave me the sense of peace within me that ESA will continue to be the superior organization that it has been for all these many years.

We celebrate our leadership and accomplishments in the leaders you so wisely elected. The leadership of any organization is truly a refection of the values of the membership that elects them. These beautiful, caring women are certainly above the ordinary. They aspire to a higher place and realm, and they possess the vision necessary to look beyond that which is obvious to that which surpasses all expectations.

To all our ESA members, ESA is on the threshold of a wonderful and exciting new direction. As we go “Above and Beyond in ESA”, working together with the membership we shall have the unique opportunity to create a whole new world.

It is a vision of a better world. It is a chance to always go above and beyond in our service to those in need wherever we my find them, in our dedication to our ideals, and in our constant pledge that as sisters of Epsilon Sigma Alpha we can enhance the lives of all mankind.

God Bless ESA!
