Worthy Works Book Clubs
The Purpose
To help individuals identify their talents and potential as they explore ways to share their special gifts by helping others and making a positive difference.
The Program
By working with the book, "What, Me Worthy?", written by author and Epsilon Sigma Alpha executive director, B.J. Clark, to identify personal talents, interests, and skills that help participants develop personal action plans for expressing their best. These initial studies, which take place in an atmosphere of mutual support and encouragement, are followed up with additional readings that focus on human potential and personal success. Participants either choose to read additional selections from a suggested reading list of choices provided by the Worthy Works Club or develop selections of their own.
As part of their study, book club members are encouraged to choose to use philanthropic guidelines provided by Worthy Works or which are suggested in the book "What, Me Worthy?" to promote philanthropic projects or personal good works within their communities.
As a part of the long-term development of club interests, club members on an ongoing basis may develop altruistic programs and projects.
